The Love Shouters: complete series

October 14, 2009 · Leave a Comment

A while ago, I started a series of tiny happy illustrations. The first two pics featured Rufus and Sad Cloud and now, a crazy bunny and a ghost joined the family and completed the group. Enjoy!

Commission: Bunny Trio… more pencils

October 1, 2009 · Leave a Comment

After a first pencil version, the bunny trio changed shape, to add characterization and look more like the real individuals it is meant to portray :) We now have a Don Quixote bunny-older son, a sparkling mother and an angel bunny-younger daughter. Working for Texas is fun!

Tattoos: a cool twist on Sorrow and the first bunny ever!

September 22, 2009 · 1 Comment

The super kind Micky just sent me pictures of his great shoulder tattoos… one is the best Sorrow I’ve seen so far and the second one is the first bunny to debut in the tattoo realm. I love them both… and if you have some of my artwork on your skin (or if you wish to have me design something unique), drop me a line.

The bunny is a portion of my 2008 Poster illustration. It was the central work for the group exhibition called Plug’n'Play I participated in. I really like the way the tattoo was shaded.

The second one is an awesome version of Sorrow… I never thought of giving red eyes to Rufus, but it does work well on skin :)

tattoo half-sleeve commission: Scarlett Eva

September 19, 2009 · 1 Comment

I just completed the first pencil version of the new half-sleeve I’m working on, it’s gonna be in full color (OH MY GOD, you’ll see me use colors) and it’s all in honor of baby Scarlett Eva, the one with wings and bunny ears playing with the giant teddy bear.
and yes… taking pictures of pencils sucks… and now we know that also scanning them sucks.

commission: family portrait (pen wip)

I don’t think I’ve ever managed to cram so many characters in one sheet… and still be able to make it look balanced. so, behold the miracle… I’m working on a new and really challenging commission, a family portrait (dog included) in bunny form! :) It’s an A3 format and I’m about to start inking… but I do have some pens and pastels to show.
